Hendry Tiaone is the Member of Parliament for Phalombe South in Phalombe District, elected for the Democratic Progressive Party in the 2025 general election.1

In the September 2025 election she won Phalombe South with 83.3% of the 24,263 votes counted, 72.3 points ahead of the nearest independent, in a field of 6 candidates.2
