Biography

Chrissie Kanyasho was the Member of Parliament for Nkhata Bay North in Nkhata Bay District for the United Transformation Movement.

In the September 2025 election the Nkhata Bay North seat was won by the DPP candidate, with 48.9% of the vote.1

Kanyasho served as Deputy Minister of Health (2020–2022).
