Biography
Lilian Estella Patel was the Member of Parliament for Mangochi South in Mangochi District, serving from 2019 to 2025 for the United Democratic Front.1
In the September 2025 election the Mangochi South seat was won by an independent candidate, with 36.6% of the vote.2
She was born on 21 February 1951. Before entering Parliament, she worked as a diplomat and a minister. She served as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
