Biography

Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda was the Member of Parliament for Kasungu South East in Kasungu District for the Malawi Congress Party.

In the September 2025 election the Kasungu South East seat was won by an independent candidate, with 60.7% of the vote.1

Chiponda served as Minister of Health (2020–).
