Biography

Mary Navicha has been Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare since October 2025, appointed by President Peter Mutharika.1

She is also the Member of Parliament for Thyolo Thava in Thyolo District, sitting for the Democratic Progressive Party.

She has also served as Member of the National Assembly of Malawi (2014).
