Martha Mzomera Ngwira has been Deputy Minister of Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare since October 2025, appointed by President Peter Mutharika.1

She is also the Member of Parliament for Mzimba Hora in Mzimba District, sitting for the Democratic Progressive Party.
